crafting stories that are light and playful or profoundly human, my stories take readers on character-based emotional journeys. creating impact through words and shared experiences, writing has given me a greater power and purpose, and i want to share that with all of you!
i’ve shared my world through platforms such as myprofileprojects.com — a provocative storytelling website showcasing the lives of womxn — as well as the playful series about katie, a happy-go-lucky, relatable little girl who sees the magic in everyday life. I also recently published sometimes, a story and school program all about inclusivity.
I also have two novels in the pipeline… and i simply can’t wait for them to be in the next phase of he publishing process :)
my favourite part of every job is the editing process, the feedback, the collaborative process - getting our hands dirty together to ensure that what the author intended to say is coming through on the page..

i teach english lit at concordia university and work full-time as a writer and strategist for a gaming/marketing agency. i’ve got a phd in comparative literature – my work focuses on silence as a literary theme and subversive tool of empowerment, womxn as body/object throughout history, and writing as a form of healing (yes, that’s narrative therapy). for nearly 20 years, i’ve written in a professional, academic, and creative capacity. i’ve tackled all kinds of projects from ghostwriting novels and weekly lifestyle blogs to social content, brand stories, press kits, or other marketing material.
